    Die AG der Dillinger Hüttenwerke benötigte für die interne Einreichung und Verwaltung der Mitarbeiter-Ideen eine neue Software, um die zugehörigen spezifischen Arbeitsabläufe abzubilden und den KVP-Prozess zu optimieren. 2012 wurden mehr als zehn verschiedene KVP-Software-Varianten analysiert und die Möglichkeiten zur Anpassung der Software auf die Bedürfnisse des Unternehmens verglichen. Für die Einführung einer geeigneten Lösung wurde die IBYKUS AG mit der Implementierung von id-Force® beauftragt, da es unsere bestehende KVP-Struktur am besten abbilden kann, gleichzeitig eine einfach zu bedienende Oberfläche bietet und dazu auch noch die wirtschaftlichen Voraussetzungen erfüllt.

    Mit id-Force® haben wird erstmals einen dezentralen und transparenten Ansatz, beginnend von der Erfassung über die Begutachtung bis hin zur abschließenden Bewertung und Prämierung der Ideen und Gruppen-Projekte unserer Mitarbeiter. Die Bearbeitungs- und Durchlaufzeit der Verbesserungs-Projekte konnte dadurch deutlich verkürzt werden.

    In id-Force®, we have found a standard software which comprehensively fulfils our requirements.

    In the search for a replacement for our "home-made" idea database, we chose id-Force® - primarily because the software offered an optimal cost-benefit ratio.

    Submitters profit from the system because they can enter their ideas into the system themselves, and then track their progress. id-Force® has not only reduced administration costs but also significantly shortened processing times.

    The introduction of the software at the end of 2007 coupled with the award of special prizes at the end of the year resulted in an increase of 30 percent in the idea rate.

    By the start of 2007, ElringKlinger, the international automotive supplier, had no alternative but to switch to a software supported suggestion scheme. The previous procedure of submitting suggestions on paper forms had reached its limits on account of the sheer quantity of ideas received and the limited personnel resources available to deal with them.

    Michael BurnikelThe company chose id-Force® because, although it had a favorable price, the software imposed no functional restrictions.

    For example, id-Force® enabled even those employees without an e-mail account to be informed. An idea manager could simply generate letters in PDF format, print them out, and distribute them via the company's internal mail. Statistical evaluations could also be prepared on the basis of dib key figures.

    One very important factor was the ease of use of id-Force®. Everyone involved was able to use the system without prior training. All that had to be done was provide a few pages of instructions.

    ElringKlinger now uses id-Force® to manage both individual suggestions for improvement and ideas submitted within the scope of its Continuous Improvement Process.

    The system has been well received by all those using it, and this is being borne out by the increase in the number
    of ideas submitted.

    Since introducing id-Force® in September 2006, to date we have been able to record an increase of 50 percent in the rate of ideas received!

    One of the reasons for this is that the application is so easy to use, it is simple to input ideas, and there are good ways of tracking their progress. This application gives us a complete overview of all submitted suggestions at all times, and we can be sure that they will be given full consideration. id-Force® also enables us to reduce the amount of paperwork substantially which, in turn, considerably speeds up the idea processing.

    We decided to choose id-Force® because of its attractive price and system design. Despite the software's wide range of functions, it is very clearly arranged, easy to handle, and a practicable way of assessing ideas.

    Since we started using id-Force®, departments have noticed a significant increase in the numbers of suggestions received, because employees can compose their ideas quickly and simply with this server-based system. Above all, there has been an increase in the number of suggestions which give real calculable savings.

    The well-arranged evaluation forms provide a good basis for setting out better arguments for implementing the suggestions submitted.

    A comparison:
    Less than 100 suggestions were submitted in 2005. In 2006, we received 122, of which almost 60 were submitted in the three months after introducing id-Force®. 277 suggestions were submitted in 2007, and we are expecting between 300 and 500 in 2008.

    Thanks to id-Force®, we have already certainly saved a five-figure amount of euros.
    And in 2008, we will definitely be able to increase that to a six-figure amount.

    Since we introduced idea management seven years ago, we had been looking for a software application with the right price-performance ratio.

    Our search finally came to an end when we found id-Force®!

    All employees can enter their own ideas into the system at any time from a PC without involving the idea manager. id-Force® also enables the works management to give the executive management well-founded reports on the status of ideas received at all times.

    When ideas are being considered, there is little difficulty in referring to all new, old and even finalized ideas. In comparison to the previous procedure, contents of submitted ideas are now more quickly and accurately assessed - thanks to id-Force®.

    Gutekunst KG has had a company suggestion scheme since 2001. Employees used to write their suggestions on paper, and put them in a "letter box".

    Hagen GutekunstAs executive director, I regarded the selection of a professional software application as so important that we researched the Internet. We chose id-Force® because the application was easy to use and administer, it had all the necessary functions, and even the price/performance ratio was right.

    We have been using the program since the summer of 2008, and the number of ideas submitted has risen by about 30 percent. From the company's point of view, I can see that id-Force® provides a well structured, precisely defined idea management process, in which every idea is examined and takes advantage of all the potential of our employees. The software also enables ideas to be assessed and implemented without delay.

    For individual employees, it is certainly advantageous that they can demonstrate their own initiative, and that they are informed about the assessment of their ideas within a short time because the entire process has a transparent layout. I also think that the online shop for prizes and the fair assessment system are good features.

    We also use a range of id-Force® marketing materials, such as posters, idea cards, idea pens and notebooks. This keeps the staff's aware of idea management within the company, and we keep participation correspondingly high.

    In January 2009, we introduced id-Force® as the new software tool to replace the old program for our idea management.

    Gisela Freiherr With id-Force®, we have been able to increase the transparency of our idea management and, above all, organize the corresponding work processes to run much more quickly. As well as saving time, it was also important to us to give users, who now total around 1700, direct access to the application, and thus to the idea processing sequences.

    From the point of view of our "ideas men and women" the big advantages are the software's open structure and its wide availability.

    Both factors ensure that one can check the processing status of one's ideas at any time, and can contact specialist departments if one has questions or needs further information.

    We have also found that our assessment system has become considerably simpler and quicker since the introduction of the new solution.

    To sum up, we can say that we chose id-Force® for a number of reasons: The ease of use of the application, the fact that it could be integrated into our SAP application environment, its optimal performance, and the exceptionally customer-friendly information and support from IBYKUS AG. These were the deciding factors for HARTING.

    While searching for a suitable idea platform for our company, I came across id-Force® for the first time in the Internet. This product had just what we had been looking for: We wanted user-friendly idea software that could be adapted to our company's needs, and which simplified the input and processing of ideas, and visualized their assessments in an uncomplicated way for everyone involved. Apart from that, the financial aspect of the purchase also had a positive effect on our decision to buy.

    The software enormously simplifies our processes, generates documents automatically (e.g. final reports), and fully and reliably archives the ideas received.

    We have had a company suggestion scheme since 1985. After the previous system had shown a couple of weaknesses, and submitting suggestions on paper involved a high administrative cost, we thought that it was time to replace our existing suggestion scheme by a professional idea management system. However, we still needed to find the right software support for the "new version" of our idea management. We found id-Force® in the Internet. The price/performance ratio and the possibility of platform-independent operation were the deciding factors for us.

    Our idea management started on scraps of paper jotted down all over the place. Since 2006 our employees had been composing their ideas on pre-printed idea slips.

    In this way, one day we received a crucial suggestion for improvement, namely to use id-Force® software for our idea management.

    With this software, the idea management in our company can, at last, run without paper. This ensures significantly faster and more complete processing of incoming ideas.

    Strong support and low costs were the final reasons for deciding to choose the user-friendly, efficient id-Force® software.

    Fast, low-priced and well-arranged – id-Force® offered us exactly those features that we expected from idea management software.

    Five suggestions were submitted on the very first day of its introduction. Its easy handling has led to more employees taking the first step of entering an idea into the system.

    In 2006, almost 50 percent of all suggestions were submitted after the introduction of the software, that is in the last third of the year. In comparison to the previous year, participation in the suggestion scheme increased by 28 percent. And a similarly high rate of participation is emerging in 2007 as for 2006. Employees are much more satisfied with the transparency and processing time.

    It's optimal that the processing status, assessor and assessment can be seen immediately in id-Force®. Quick submission and immediate acknowledgement of receipt by the idea management are advantages in comparison to the previous procedure that should not be underestimated.

    Between September 2006 and July 2007, both the calculable savings and the non-monetary savings potential almost doubled in comparison to the previous corresponding period. Accordingly, a considerably higher amount of prize money could be paid out for accepted suggestions for improvement.
